My g/f goes to college and needs IE foe the browser any help would be great.

1.Why does she need IE? Is it that some web page she needs to access only allows IE? If so, there is a way around that.

2. Check out the IEs4Linux project. It may be somewhat difficult to set up, though. Let me know if you need any help.

or install a virtual machine using virtualbox and install windows to use any windows programs while using ubuntu:
